The information in this document also applies to other Linux distributions that are RedHat clones, such as Mandrake, although we have not actually tried them ourself. The Mandrake distributions uses a simpler hdgenlist
program (it's a shell script), and other details may be different.
The LinuxPPC distribution for Apple PowerMacs and other PowerPPC machines is also somewhat similar to the RedHat distribution. When making a distribution for the PowerMac platform, you need to use mkhybrid) instead of mkisofs
